I too like the countryside wherever I travel (but I am a mountain farmers’s child after all) I just sometimes get afraid that people will think some countries are all coutry and no city 😉
Atlantic city I have actually been once in 1994. I’ll check it out (though i like your NYC photos 🙂 )
I think that the beauty of blogs is to introduce people to a place, and it is motivation for them to research more about it. So keep on posting “the other side” of cities and countries. I find that appealing, anyway 🙂 I hope to post some more NY shots soon!
You are so right.
I walked around the first day in Addis city for 7-8 hours (without a camera since I had to check the atmosphere first. Thinking that I would have plenty of time in two weeks to take nice photos.
Somehow the people was so nice so I (we)was invited to both this and that keeping me from walking the city again.
I’ll see if I can dig out some OK shots from the pocket cam that I kept with me the following day. The “big one” got stuck in my room somehow.
But almost better to have great memories than great photos 😉
The people I met were all soo nice and hospitable.
If you want to see a photo in a larger version just click it!
Thanks for the ride Fasil

excellent depictions of life in Ethiopia
Thank you 🙂
Bare in mind that it is rural life. The city of Addis is a bustling other side of the coin 😉
Thank you by the way for letting me know New york while never having been there
I like this side – the rural and raw. Thanks for looking at my posts! I have just posted on Atlantic City so they should provide a break from busy NY!
